Our beginners classes cover techniques for making and decorating pottery as well as understanding the fundamentals of pottery and the potters skills.
We have classes from a private one hour taster session on the wheel through to a six week course with other beginners on multiple making and decorating techniques and special short courses .
The regular longer courses are very popular as once you have finished your initial five or six week block you are offered the chance to carry on working on your own projects. Some students have been with us for years.
Due to the covid crisis, this term will be five weeks rather than our usual six. We will be covering all the usual subjects of hand building, throwing and decorating but the projects we will be doing will be simpler.
