Pottery Classes (beginners and improvers)

We are aware that there are many people who want to join our classes but they may not be able to as they cannot travel outside their tier, they wish to self isolate or we just cannot get them in because of social distancing rules.

We have therefore decided to copy the model that a number of colleges are offering and add the option to attend the classes online. 

Pottery Live is a new initiative we are trying out. When we are able to  due to restrictions you may still be able to get a physical space in the studio. Alternatively you will have  the option of joining the classes through Zoom. 
Both classes will be offered concurrently and the studio based and online students will be able to interact giving everyone a chance to socialize as well as make pottery. If necessary there will also be break out rooms for specific class activities.
Online students will be able to purchase a tool kit (approx £30) from me or request a list of tools and purchase them separately. Clay will be posted or collected from the studio and will be of the type that can be air dried or kiln fired. (for firing you will need to post or drop of the pieces at the studio)

Cost for the beginners classes are £120 for studio spaces and £96 for Online (additional cost for tool kit and firing if required).

The classes cover techniques for making and decorating pottery as well as understanding the fundamentals of pottery and the potters skills. Each class block is six weeks with the option to carry on at the end of each six week block.
